    Yes. Before BMW came out with convertibles TC Baur chopped the tops off coupes and made their own convert. They were never officially sold here in the US. I never see them randomly on the street but being in the club for many years, I've seen a handful of them. In fact my buddy used to have a bronzit just like that one.

      not just before BMW made their own, they've done this with e30's, e21's, e36's, etc. They're cool, and that's not a bad deal either. I'd snatch that shit up.

            Buy it, it's not everyday you see a Baur up for sale in the US. For 5k that's a heck of a deal and the owner clearly has a detailed enough description to assure that he has taken good care of the car.
