So how rare are Glass sun roofs, really??

I came across a 91' 325i w/ whatI thgink are weird options :?
Its got a Glass sun roof, premium sound system, power everything BUT only reg. seat and bottle caps.....
I just found it strange thata glass roof came on a "i" and NOT a "is"

Its only got 112k miles and in great shape , I'm seriously considering buying :roll:

The factory glass moonroof was an option. It could be had on many different e30's both equiped on dealer invoice, and after purchase.

Genuine OEM moonroofs are all but the rarest of the rare options. The glass will be clearly marked as OEM if it is.

The only thing rarer IIRC is the automatic climate control.

Id love to have a glass moonroof for my car but knowing myself it would have to be perfect and all the ones on ebay have scratches.

The climate control is indeed the very most rare of the raritys. Only came in 93 model I believe, and only in europe. Basicly e36 climate control in a e30.

Agreed, I know where there is a car with a factory unit also. But it is a 4 door whore witha burnt slushbox. The Guy wants to fix it with another auto. He works at Cottman automatic transmission shop so he can rebuild if he'd like.

Doubt the baskets were stock. As they were never a option here. But cool the previous owner equipped it for you.

I think I remember someone on bimmerforums having a moonroof made for their e36. I plan on getting one made when I get a little extra cash.
