    E39 wheels on an E30

Ok guys Im sure this topic has been beat to death and seems stupid to most of you folks but I would like to know if theres some kinda of spacer for converting a 4 lug car to 5 lugs. I have a set of 17x8 inch BBS's from the E39 528i and I am lacking enough funds to do the full 5 lug swap from an E30 //M3. unless omeone has one for under 400 dollars. On a side note I will be selling one of my two sets of wheels. The e39 BBS's or my ///M3 leightweight replicas. So let me know if your intrested in either set and make an offer. Thanks for any help you can provide.

If it was worth using spacers I would have kept my genuine E36 M3 and E39 M5 wheels instead of tossing them on ebay.Sell them and move on.

Yes, I do know the answer.

            No, there is not.

Now next time, before immediatley turning into a complete smartass, you might try searching the forum first for your answers, since you already assumed it had been beaten to death, which it has. Hope to help, good luck with the sale, cool guy.

Realistically, there's no way anyone can do a 5-lug swap for $400. Typical costs run $1500-$3000, depending on the type of wheels you run. Furthermore, E39 wheels have a different centerbore and a shallower offset than most other BMW 5-lug wheels, so even if you could find a 5-lug for $400, you'll need to run an adapter and machine the centerbore a few mm to clear.

                I've started a half-ass 5-lug conversion page using E30 M3 parts:

                HTH

                '86 325 2.8i stroker - Arctic Blue
                '11 328i Sports Wagon - LeMans Blue

Damn, that's a deal. I'd be all over it if I didn't already have a set.
