HUH? I thought it would be simple enough as putting a handle in there because i get my passenger window down with a allen key

Wouldn't parting out an entire car be a lot more work than doing a little searching?

If referring to me, it was the cherry on top of the hot fudge sundae.

LOL I was replying to the OP.
If it was a cheap parts car, the roll-ups were probably worth it alone.

To find E30 in the realoem etk try selecting "Archive" under Catalog.

You can either swap out the entire regulator, or just the part that the crank connects to.
See how there are two different mechanisms:

On power windows, there are a couple of bolts holding it on, but on the manual windows, there are some rivets, and you will have to grind them off to separate them.

I had to swap mechanisms because I had two sets of manual regulators out of coupes, and the coupe regulators were longer than 4-door regulators.

Edit: You should probably try to find the problem with your power windows first, as most any problem with them is easily/cheaply fixed, and you will get tired of crank windows very quick.

                              There's a car in the local U-Pull-It with crank windows, it's an '84 318i.
