Forgot to mention they had a 318ti. I thought they stopped making those.

An E36 318ti? or an E46 318ti? Because, as far as I had understood from press statements, the E46 318ti only made it to this side of the ocean via Argentina...

I could see possibly with some aftermarket wheels, a suspension setup, it could be a sick little car. There aren't a lot fo RWD hatchbacks, at least in the US. It could turn out to be a fun car. Initially though, I don't really like it. We'll have to wait and see what some of the tuning houses (AC Schnitzer, Hartge, etc...) and individual tuners do with it.

BMW isn't going to call the 1 series M car that, they've worked around it so as to not spoil the heritage of their first M car. Read it in a Road and Track a long time ago, not sure when...

I love these cars. I would get one as a DD if the diesel came to the states but if not then I will get a E34 and love on that for a DD.

Damn, ACS doesn't waste any time, do they? See what I mean about the aftermarket stuff though? A subtle body kit and some cool wheels, and it looks 1000 times better already.

Does anyone besides me think it kind of looks like a shoe?

Read the brochure well.. It'll say somewhere it's only available in Argentina. Believe me, I checked like mad...

And that's an E46 Compact... I want a 325ti soooo bad... just so i can drop an M54B30 in there and tweak the hell outta it...
