i talked to metric mechanic and i guess these were converted 323 heads with "i" intake and exhaust valves. that explains the wierd machining behind the intake valve seats into the port without the rest of the port being blended.
i am going to look for another head to do up, have welded, and replace it.
then maybe clean up and blend the ports of the other one and sell it.
how big of a deal is it to weld the head when you are boosting it?seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

yea, but i would rather start with an i head and go from there with it, because it already has bigger ports and i have no idea how thick the runner walls are on this mystery head or what is left after machining the area behind the valve seat to match the port.
after i clean this one up i would make a great ETA head for a 2.7 stroker. just not what i want to start with if i am going to go through the effort.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen
