Just curious but where did all the money you put into your car come from Jordan? Just working alot? Or was it mostly saved before hand?

He really didn't spend much, he's posted the amount before. Self-labour is the key.

No one in their right mind would have paid what it would have cost to do all that Jordan has done to his car. Lots of his own sweat went into it instead of dollars. And after all that, the damn front bumper still points up!!!! :D :D :D

Both of his kids ride in new 2004 Mach 1 Mustangs (yes they are twins and each have one), and are trading them in when they get the new 2005's in. Oh, and there previous rides were new Lexus rx330's. Thats all possible with no college education.
Well you better go to school for common sense because you seem to be very lacking in that area.

Robert, OT, did you paint your car pink?
Sorry bro, maybe an online forum doesnt do me justice. I carry a decent gpa, have high goals, and know what im doing with my life. $ says half the people on here are fat nerds with nothing to do but check up on the next fat nerd who just purchased a set of euro elips for his outdated econobox. I mean really, in the grand scheme of things, whos gonna give a fuck? Its all about perspective, if youve got it, youve got it all. I just come here because its funny, and i happen to own the same car as everyone else.
              define..... fat....
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, i cant stop laughing. Its all good matt. im sure he didnt mean you in particular hes just trying to make a point

Re: Found my new inspiration to stay in school

there are 3 types of lies lies, damn lies, and Stats,

I graduated in the bottom 20% of my highschool.

My high school is #3 in NYC, the top 3 schools in nyc admit about 1000 students a year, there are over 87K students who can potentally apply to the high school I went it, about 15K apply and 1000 get in.......

There is a big difference between being the smartest dumb person and the dumbest smart person.

All you guys calling out people who have succeded with out school just stop and think about the chances of someone doing that, take every one who has made it big, and then think about the ones who have not just look at day time shows like Jerry, think those people have and education? No you kids just look at the good and forget the bad......times are also different in case you didnt knotice you cant just get by with knowledge now a days you need an education for almost any job you take unless you are manning the drive threw window or pumping gas, but even with those jobs there are a lot of border jumpers who will do that for about 2/3s of min wage...

And with buisness forget about it dude with the internet, and technology now a days its really hard to start something and become sucessfull....

School is very important depending on what you want it do...I have to say though you really should finish highschool at least.

Here's where a lot of people I see can fall short in school, a lot of people studying too hard. From college, people probably need two things: skills to be hired, and people they know that can get them one.

                  The way I see it:
People who study all the time, are anti-social, and graduate with high scores, but not know anyone will have to duke it out with all the other nerds.

People who party all the time, and barely graduate. They will know people and could probably land a job, but out of a favor from a friend and not great because they lack the knowledge.

The best is moderation, IMO. Work hard, but party and meet people, and have fun. Also, part time jobs, internships and other networking can pay off in a job hunt. Networking actually has a section devoted to it in my textbook for Organizational Behavior and Human Relations.

Engineering, for example. The people who succeed the most aren't the smartest, but generally the ones with higher EQ (intra- and inter-personal skills). As much as people are in college to learn in the classes, they need to learn more about themselves, about interactions, about life.....and how to deal.

And even if there are some nerds who spend too much time on here, myself included perhaps.....getting along and learning to discuss things and respect other people's opinions appply even here. And if you don't get to know people and learn.....maybe this is a waste of time.

                    RWHwhatever...

I totally agree with you I am in grad school right now doing my MBA, i see kida with 4.0 averages who have NO people skills at all that is not what the world is about, its about moderation !!!

I study i dont aim for the 4.0 more like a 3.5 but im out every thursday having drinks with school mates and networking, i cant walk to class without being stoped less then 3 times to say hi to someone...its not the ohh im so cool factor but i think its good to get to know these people because I am certain that I will run into them in the future be it if they are a panel interviewing me or if they are sitting across from my and we are trying to make a deal.....

                      exactly.

no matter what, I run into people I know on the way to class or out and about. (sometimes like after dinner, the people I ate with find it annoying all the people I say hi to and see what is going on, even though they would rather just go back.....you must have an appreciation for the value of friendships and networking) and also when you start to interact with more and more people, you realize a lot of people are interconnected. Like maybe my best friend's brother's boss is my buddy's father, etc. Or so and so used to date the guy in my roommate's calc class.

When you all graduate, finally, you will have friends out there and can get interviews because of people you know. I think Z3Jonathan said networking gets you the interview, and your skill set gets you the job. Postive relationships with former employers pay off too. I can easily walk to the real estate office I worked at the front desk for and become a sales agent if I felt like it. And they probably know people in _____ field if I am looking for a job after college too.

Although, it kinda pays off that the chemists or the engineers may not have the best ability to get along. Then people get paid a fair amount of money to supervise them and make sure they communicate well with other departments. 8) Industrial Management = helping to make sure nerds work well along with each other. ;)
