where is the factory battery location?

It's like that from factory. Only a few cars have it up front. Mainly convertibles and early model 318s

so i was looking in the manual that came with my car the other day. i noticed it showed the battery under the hood. mine isn't like this. mine is in the trunk. did someone do this or do some come like this from factory?
