      Why would anyone do this (I understand the concept but WAY too many vw kids will burn to death from this video before they EVEN GET their hands on any fireworks!!!) or maybe I've had too many PBR's!

                  Oh yeah thats safe. It seems to me the first time he hits a hard corner that bead is going to roll of and his rims are going to be scrap. Never got the whole stretch thing. If you want wide rims get some wide tires.

                      i agree with this. ive always liked the meaty look of a properly matched tire sitting square against rims. i totally get that there are advantages to doing it for drifting purposes, but thats redonkulous.

                            Stretched tires aren't bad until they get too extreme. Then it gets ridiculous.
