my e30 is also sterling silver, i prefer red or black, but then again my existing paint is pretty dull lokking, maybe with a re-spay of sterling silver it would look very good.

you will almost never get a good paint job this way. off hours means...... it is going to take until you get pissed and pressure him to get it finished then her will rush through it and half ass it.seien Sie größer, als Sie erscheinen

one of my fenders was red, the hood was white, and the doors were green. There is no difference in color on the exterior of the car. The inside of the door is not perfect but i'm more then happy considering all the work that was done for $1300.

^ very nice. it looks like the key to it is to have a nice primer and base coat
after you put your interior materials (seals, door handles etc) back on, is there any visual evidence of the door being green before?Last edited by bmwstephen; 09-15-2009, 08:40 AM.

As you can see in the pictures it has a slight green hue to it on the inside of the door. They only primered the exterior. But you don't really notice it when your in the car. Again for all the bodywork (rear ended and lots of shaving) i am more then happy with the results. I have a feeling it would have came out better ( couple of rough sanding spots) had i not told them i was just planning on racing the car lol.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
