I broke my hood lever

So I broke my hood lever on the E30. I think the bra I put on somehow jammed everything all up, and I pulled a little too hard on the handle. Anyways, how the hell do I open this hood now?

Screwdriver inserted into the latch mechanism, turn 1/4 turn. It is behind the front grille.

make sure when you go to pop it with teh screwdriver you keep your forehead close to teh front of the hood.

I didnt have to use this method until today, when I changed my plugs and did a seafoam treatment.... It was much easier than I imagined it would be, lol. I dont even have to fix this lever now.
