I was thinking the same thing.. or a nice 3.0CSi they're selling..
But they want too much for the cars.. $12k for the M6 (and it's not in good condition) or $8k for the 3.0CSi which is allright, just not worth that much money..
I think i'm gonna get an E36 :(1988 325iC - "Betty" - Daily Driver/Project Car.

Yes i would :D Mechanical wise they use the same parts as the similar generation 5 and 7 series. They are only M30 engines, nothing super special about them. The CSi models come with a lot of electrics inside though, heated electric seats, rear cooler (if fitted), i havent seen any problems pop up though. The difference between the cars as far as i can tell (ie between being a good buy and a money pit) is how well it has been looked after and what has been replaced according to the service intervals. I cant comment on your pricing because of the location, but a nice clean 635CSi would sell for around the 15k mark here.Just a little project im working on

Every M6 I've seen around here is easily 15k - 20k. That's why I'm waiting, I hope for the price to drop. Those cars are gorgeous, plain and simple. Easily one of the top three of the best looking on my list. The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.Comment

Re: higher price
Those 635CSi's look better and better everyday. ;)Originally posted by Matt86essorry, but the prices on m6 are more than likely going to rise now, instead of go down. They are that much of a collector's item, now.The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.Comment
