Watch out for any fuel leaks...

Watch your engine bay for any fuel leaks, well at least thats what I think caused the fire...there was a puddle of fuel where I had parked (didnt see or smell anything)

Good thing I am am picking up the M3 on thursday.

PS...gotta love german engineering, took the firefighters 5 or 6 blows to break the windows.

Yeah, luckily the cop had a digital camera with him. Pretty crazy stuff, didn't realize the flames were so big until looking at the first pic several times.

holly shit man im sorry to see thaT.

THAT ALMOST HAPPEND TO MY M3 THE SECOND TIME I TOOK IT OUT.

I DROVE TO THE CITY, NOT JERSEY CITY BUT MANHATTAN AND WENT OVER A LARGE PLATE ON THE FLOOR DIDNT THINK NOTHING OF IT LEFT THE CAR RUNNING WITH A FRIEND IN IT AND WENT TO THE BANK, WHEN I COME OUT I SMELL GAS AND SOMEONE POINTED OUT FROM ACROSS THE STREET THAT I WAS LEAKING FUEL!

turns out it was the line wich goes into the fuel filter near the rear drivers side wheel got cut when i went over the plate which was sticking out. i pushed the car half a block down becasue every fucker walking by with a smoke gave me a heartattack! two hours later a flat bed showed up and took us home.

                          sorry for your loss man.
