Well Jon, the reason I lost it was because my insurance at the time had expired. I was under the impression, as was with my last insurance company,
that my policy had a 7 day grace period after expiration, and I was going to a new company the following Monday to start a new policy, as I wasn't happy
with my current carrier anymore. Well, I was wrong. The policy had completely expired, and I was uninsured. Hence, I was convicted of an at-fault accident
with no insurance. Automatic 1 year suspension in the state of Oregon.
Most insurance companies don't have a grace period for that very reason, they don't want to provide coverage if you're not renewing with them. I recently switched insurance carriers and had to set my start date to coincide with the day my existing policy was to expire.
I once had the misfortune of being told by a company that they were not going to renew me the day my policy expired. Being without insurance for even one day sucks because future insurance companies don't like seeing that. I was totally ripped off trying to get insurance when it 'lapsed' even by one day.
Good luck! Also, if your CCA chapter offers it, you might want to consider attending a car control clinic.
I was just joking. Either way you made the mistake of pushing the car to hard without easing into it. Your mistake was just that "not being used to the power jump from 325e to 325i". you just should've driven like a granny for a few weeks until you got the feel for the new power upgrade. It is perfectly okay Josh we all make mistakes even i do. Its nature nobody is ever perfect. :)

Goodluck with your next car.
Yes, you're absolutely right. Thanks for the advice...
