I believe you are referring to the one in the firewall. It is behind your intake manifold and accessible from the engine bay.

Pop your sunroof vent and drive really fast. It will pull cold air out of the AC. Ladies love fast cars.

I think this is a huge noob question but: E30s with no sunroofs are rare? Whats the whole deal with slicktops? Can someone fill me in?

ya they are rare, and pretty desirable.
the fact that they dont have the sunroof means less weight which is a priority for people tracking their cars.

I've only seen them on 2 doors.

The blower is located in the windshield cowl.

                      Open the hood
Remove the firewall cover (held in by 5, 5mm screws)
                      Remove blower cover straps
                      Lift off blower motor cover
Remove blower motor clip, and wires
                      Lift out blower motor

If blower is damaged, PM me I have one that was used for about 2k. It is balanced.
                      Good Luck

                        I have a 4 door slicktop...What does that mean?
I took of the firewall cover and even the wires that run through there and I couldn't find it. Could it be on the inner firewall? Where i have to remove the center part to get to it? Its a 1991 318i

Thanks for the help so far guys

you're half way there. You'll see the 2 straps holding down the black plastic blower cover.

                          Remove blower cover straps

I saw an m42 four door with no sunroof in jersey a while back. Unforetunately it was covered in poorly painted over rust so I didn't get it.

I cant seem to find the straps your talking about. I inputted what i needed in a mechanic/repair program and it said it was located on the inside of the car behind the dash. Could that be possible? All i see when i take of the covers and look behind the wires is the metal of the car.
Does anyone happen to have any pictures?

EDIT: I think i found the straps your talking about. Let me give it a shot.
