Ya, he's more active on bimmerforums, although he comes on here sometimes.
I think he just wants to get his money back.

we need to start cracking down on all these ebay/craigslist threads. they are starting to get annoying, and i don't think i am the only one who feels this way. if the owner of the auction or listing posts it, thats a different story.

when someone does this, it is possible that you are publicizing a listing that someone here is interested in, adding more competition and diminishing their effort put into finding whatever it is, which is very annoying to them.

WTF? Annoying? Then don't click on these threads if it annoys you. I see it as making fellow enthusiasts aware of a desirable (or not so desirable) car that maybe they'd give a good home to. Funny that you also chimed in re 3bvert's thread regarding Rico's vert, but never complained at all about him posting it...

maybe they'd give a good home to it, but if someone is interested in it, they don't want it posted on an e30 forum so that other people can jack up the price of the bid.

i didn't say anything about that other thread because its been posted for the millionth time and enough has been said about that particular listing. it just so happened that i looked at your thread after the other one. this complaint wasnt directed at you, just the threads. post whatever you want.

and btw, this is from the r3v guidelines:

Ebay auctions and message boards don’t mix

Below is a set of “rules” that will make message boards more enjoyable. Feel free to link to this message if needed.

                            1. If you are not the seller of the auction do not post any links to an active auction. Randomly posting a link to an auction that you have no connection to could be considered, “begging for friends”. If anyone on the board had already searched and spent their own time trying to find this item all you did was “let the cat out of the bag”. You will have then alienated that person and be one “begging for friends” in the negative.

                            2. If you think someone may be interested in an item that you have found. Use PM or AIM or E-mail. Do not openly post the item for all to see as this would be “letting the cat out of the bag” once again. A private conversation would surely win over the recipient of the information.
