Opinions on Arm Rests wanted. Inquire within...

    ...as the title states!

I THINK I really want one. Throw me your opinions so that I can make an informed decision..

By opinions I mean: are they functional? Sturdy? Do they tend to get in the way? Cup holder...useless or good? Those kinds of things. I am sure some will say rice, but that is not what I am looking for! ;)

See below for what I want... it is $119-ish at Bav Auto. I haven't checked anywhere else, I am certain I can find it for less. (one would think at least)

    Thanks Guys!

Thank you rcwells for the use of your interior! :)[/img]

What about the other cupholder on that site. Click home and you will see it. It sits on the floor and secures under the panel. I mainly drink bottled water or a smallish diet coke, so I am not worried about spills. BUT hell, they show that thing with a big gulp and claim it won't tip.

Has anyone heard anything about those?

I have one if you want it. $50 shipped. The cup holder is uselful for highway cruising and unless your power shifting all the time the armrest is more comfortable than cumbersome. Plus it will easily slide backward to move out of the way. IM me or PM me and let me know.

the best cup holder in an e30 is the between the center console and passenger seat by the seat belt buckle. been using that for years and never had a problem

Had that TrackTop one since the car was a few days old, and despite the nasty words I like it. I shift with my wrist anyways.

                  BTW, inquire means ask.

Do it! I swear if I had experienced one sooner, I woulda dropped the money on it in a heartbeat. It is soo comfortable, and the few times you do have a drink, the cupholder comes in handy. Just do it, you won't regret it.

And mine has NOT been in the way while shifting. Of course the SSK helps that a bit I suppose. It does NOT look cheap, actually has a really nice factory look to it. Only downside to the cupholders, they don't hold any of the BIG drinks.

Yes, yes. I was caught up in the novelty of the colloquialism. By the time I realized my mistake, well, it was too late.

Oh well. I will live with the shame and humiliation of being unable to correctly represent my native tongue.

Here Here. Who needs a cup holder? That system works just fine.

You mean the actual space between the seat and console?? I just discovered that the other day. I was not sure how comfortable i was with it though. lol You can honestly attest to this huh? If so, I just might continue to use it. It would definitely be the most cost effective option.

                            :)
