    Its not a Guibo.

    So I just found this out.

    The Flex disk in our cars is not a "Guibo Clutch" there is a difference the old ones that had metal plates with spans of rubber between them those are a "guibo clutch" or joint. BMW stopped using them in the 70s and switched to a Flex Disc.

    Just thought I would pass this along case the old dyed in the wool BMW guys are laughing at us.

      Yes they were called a "Guibo Clutch" I thought that was weird myself.

      I searched it and came up with dick then they showed me an old parts manual and there it is "Guibo Clutch".
