nice car. good find. welcome home.
Yeah it has its minor problems (rust on the trunk lid, gauge cluster is on crack, a few cosmetic blemishes), but it has a new clutch, new thermostat, valve job, etc. So the maintenece is pretty much up to date, thanks to Apex Motorsports :). I LOVE, the suspension! Cannot go wrong with Bilstein and H&R. Its kinda cool starting over, you can progress from the mistakes you already learned.

That is exactly the suspension that I want. Can you comment more about the ride & handling. Do the Bilsteins bottom out? Do they have enough rebound damping?

Well, I cant really comment indepth on anything yet. I just picked up the car last night. So far this suspension has rocked, literally tears the eibach set up in pieces! Ive already taken around a few of my friends at school (they mostly drive e36's), and this car has sure enough convinced them to buy an e30. The only thing that I notice is a little oversteer, because I think the diameter of the rear sway bar is just a little too big. Also, I have some crap tires on now, so I couldnt really tell ya.

2nd or 3rd gear i believe. I did not take the pic. The e36 M3 shifter is kind of weird, im still trying to get used to it.

Sounds more like a step back in the right direction 8)

Good choice in the E30. Now if only it were still AutoX season, then we could have the E30s representing in full force ;)
