Can't you get one of those stickers from a doctor that would allow you to legally run front tint? Remember reading this somewhere.

Never heard of that but sounds true enough. I had an infected ulcer in the cornea of my left eye and 4 on my right just spread around. And for a while they made me wear and eye patch like a pirate and those old man plastic sunglasses. So my eyes are also very sensitive to light but im used to it. I just have to squint and crap when there's alot of sun. So i wouldnt doubt that some people need that, especially if there old... and shit

I love the look of no tint:

But the heat is brutal and I don't want to trash my interior, so I need to get tint soon unfortunately.:(

Lol beautiful, forced. That interior has kept itself like that with no tints??? Or do you cover the seats or something?

Im confused, after taking it out of the garage you tinted it?
Nonetheless, no tint is so much better

I'm the second owner. The previous owner would travel back and forth up north weather pending and the car sat in a garage most of it's life and would get driven in the winter.

Couple weeks after buying the car, got it tinted.

My Firebird is the same way, but I am the third owner (second only had it a few months and tinted it), but the interior is just as nice.

Here in FL, sun is your enemy, not salt

I don't tint for looks, personally I do for the heat, touching the steering wheel (specially black), and keep it nice inside.

                    Where in FL are you?

I was in the same situatioun you are in, alpine car, old purple faded tint, mint interior, hot FL sun. I peeled off the old tint and the car looked great. However, I park outside in the day and didnt want to risk cracking my dash or fade. I went with 20%rear 35% sides. Looks pretty good, but fishbowl looks better. But its worth tinting it if your interior is in good shape.

Here's my alpine car when I first got it. I dont know what percent tint it was. Everything was tinted equally except for the windshield. It looks a bit darker than it really is because it's in the shade, but it's close. If I had to guess, I'd say it was somewhere in the 35-50% range.

I live down here in miami, thanks for the help guys, when i have a bit more time and money (cry) ill prolly peel and tint them lower. It sucks, i was really exited to go for the fishbowl look but i care to much for the interior and cant imagine having to repair it. Or toast inside my car everyday with no air.

No air, are you effin nuts?

I replaced the power steering with a turbo in the Firebird and kept A/C :p

What's wrong with the air? I'm just a skip North of you, should see if we can get you some air.

thanks man id appreciate that. technically i do have air. But heres the problem, i rear ended some dude and havent been able to pull out the front end. So my fan is crushed in and cant move D: i even bought a new blower and everything because mine had broken (already installed) But i cant charge my air! I tried that conversion kit w.e. its called and it didnt fit.

So when i do get my fan to run again, its only going to be blowing hot air. Whad you do to make it blow cold again forced?
