speeding ticket, on campus (NCSU) 40 in a 20 (picture/scan)

quick question. i got clocked for 40 in a 20 on campus at "3 am" though its only 12:30 right now. Also, i asked the campus policeman for the radar and he said he "tracked" me. any idea's kids?

Schools are generally like dictatorships. Local police/courts usually rule in favor of schools, also. Good luck getting treated fairly. Of course huge amounts of bitching, like in 90% of life, could allow you to get your own way. What I'm trying to say is, even though that ticket sounds bullshit, it won't be so easy getting away with it.

Tracking you? that right there would be enough for me. WTF is tracking?
Campus police... is this like a regular police officer stationed on campus, or some hall moniter on a power trip? If its the first, ask a judge what the hell this is (not in those words) and he should drop it (or at least give you an explanation).
If it's the latter, kick him in the ass and tell him go jackoff.

Did this just happen? If it's still not 3am, stand by a clock far away from wherever this happened, and take pictures showing you weren't even on campus at the time and date of the incident :P

I got one for running a stop sign that i stopped at for 5 min to ask my friend in the car with me if we where going home or to the on campus apartments and one for speeding when i wasn't cuz i was watching the speedo the whole time cuz i know how hardcore the cops are. I got a citation on campus so you don't see a judge even though they are real cops. All I got to do to defend myself was write up a short summary of my case so it sucks cause I don't get to talk to anyone adn when I asked for radar she said she didnt need it to tell I was speeding........I was like wtf? I also got 5 tickets in a row when my car broke down in a special permit parking lot which never fills up each one was $30 and I didn't get a single one appealed by the police department cause evidently my car breaking down and being unable to run or start is not a good enough excuse for your car to be parked in the wrong lot..........Fuck on campus police I swear. If you don't get to see a judge you are screwed.

You might not want that amount of personal information posted on the internet man.

Do you know what people can do with that?

Yeah, I'm with the hero. Man up, if you do the crime, pay the fine.

I plead nolo contendo to my ticket, what more could I say besides thanks for not arresting me or towing my car, and writing the ticket so it wasn't reckless driving.

I mean good luck on fighting it, but if it doesnt', just realize speeding is speeding. If you don't like it, buy a M10. Or Honda SOHC.

the tracking thing is the old school way of catching speeders, time between 2 stationary objects and whatnot

fight it, most schools give you at least one freebie...

Like Jordan said you really need to remove that ticket. Identity thieves can screw you big time with that information.
