Having had used cars my whole life, I have not been the direct recipient of these "your new car" videos but did receive one for my e90 the other day.

Three-layer hard-cover booklet, CD on left flap, BMW book on the right. CD had audio recordings from TED (havent listened yet) and the book describes factoids about BMW (like what the e means and why bmw has kidney grill) for someone that knew nothing previous about a BMW.

very cool. my e36 came withe a cassette... and yes it was cheesy but its still in the glovebox.
