        I love my e30, but i'm gonna say that my e36 was my first true bmw love. I hope it gets the cult status.

            The author made the kid comment as a comparison to other BMWs. Go to a Concours d'Elegance with newer BMWs and the median age goes way up. Even the M Car day we resently held with 130 M Cars had a median age of 50. Though there are owners from 18-70 at the E30 Picnic, the median age is about 30-32.

            I do my part at 47 years old by owning 6 E30s.
