Looked at a 318iS...

I've been looking for an e30 for about a year and almost every e30 owner I talk to feeds me some kind of BS.

just be patient. i've been waiting for a loooooooong time to get rid of my car but there is nothing out here that i would actually go for. it's either auto or it's a cabrio (no offense to either types owner...well maybe auto 8) ) or it is just a piece of shit. i'm sure you'll know the right one when you see it. good luck.

lol, yeah it's interesting how so many sellers try to look like they know everything when they really have no idea.

I'd say with the oil leak and the unsure quality of the respray, I would simply wait and find a nice one.

When I was shocked to see it didn't have a sunroof he also said that no 318iS cars came with sunroofs. Yeah...that's right ;)
The no sunroof is strange. It has heated seats, PDL, PW, PM, and foglights but no sunroof.

Minus the heated seats, I have the same options and the LSD. Don't ask me why I don't have a sunroof either. ;)

I think the no-sunroof M42 is the lightest E30 except for the early M10's, which makes it a nice track platform.
