because its Euro duh.. I have a 13 button now but truthfully never use its features other than time and temp, I know if its hot or cold out and the E30 is a 3 season car anyway (no winter) and I like the simple look of it, very period correct.

hmmm... maybe I'll sell off the OBC13 and go w/ one of the Euro analog clocks...

So, all that is needed is either just a wire splice or splicing in the correct connector for a OBC to Euro analog swap?

What is a fair price for a Euro analog clock these days? Searching on here, the price seems to vary greatly.

Ben, I have a good 6 button if you want from when I retrofitted a 13 button.

6 button has a busted screen. Analog looks better. Done deal

I just absolutely love the way the analog clock looks, and plus with the 318is, the 6-button is pretty much useless. The only thing that was nice was the temperature feature, but even that isn't a must have.

didn't do the swap ... it was already in the dash of my '89 325i Touring.

The OBC in my '91 318is is possessed by the demons ... has a mind of it's own and is generally just filling what would otherwise be a hole in my dash.

My $0.02 - analog clock is clean, simple and fits the nature of the car - BMW should have just kept doing them.

I like knowing the temp on the 6 button, I think I might actually go to the 13 button.

I went from a 13 button to an analog. I thought I would miss the temp gauge the most, but I don't. My analog clock is spot on and I only have to reset when I disconnect the battery to work on the car. The clock is so much cleaner looking than the buttons. Looks more retro.

I've been lucky with the 6-button units in both my cars (and my son's '90 325i); they look/operate flawlessly (after replacing a couple of bulbs). I guess since they function properly, I don't think about deleting/upgrading.

I would definitely do that bad ass analog clock when my shit fucks up!!!
