Even with the holiday, we still had a little get together. We finally had some time to try and diagnose Nunzio's misfiring issue.

Nunzio's is red, Chris is the black one.






With getting less than 200 miles a tank, fuel wasn't the problem. Sounded like a spark issue, so started with the coil. Found the resistance to be a little high, yet a better spec'd used one didn't change anything. From there, decided to check on the wires and cap/rotor.

Glad it was an easy diagnosis. Car now runs great! He can finally enjoy the 19lb'ers and the MarkD.

He was in a front end accident before we rebuild the car, the body shop was suppose to fix everything, the cover looked intact so I guess they never checked. Just never ran like it was suppose to, Turk figured it was making contact at higher revs but not all the time. It kept sputtering and running rough. We thought it might have been the ecu, injectors, etc, etc. Finally took the cover off and bam.

She runs like a beast now.
