    Joined the E30 crew...

I've wanted one for a long arse time, and needed a car to get to a class at school that I just started so I need something besides the bike.

I am going to repaint all the trim and restore the interior since that is one of my favorite things about BMW's, but first I need to figure out a coolant temp sensor issue. I already checked the 7mm nuts on the back of the cluster so I don't think it's those. Anyone know the resistance I should be seeing on the sender unit? Also, when testing should I put the positive lead on the pole and negative on the engine block, or is there a better way to do it?
