i cant see your car very well to know how good it really is. i do not have a e46 yet but i do have a e30 and 2 e36s i got to say my daily driven e36 328I with 3.0m3 cams and some other head work does i guess look better but its suppose to thats why i bought it the dropped it and put it on 18 that i had to wait 6 months for since they didnt make it for an e36 yet. my other e36 is an m3 the 98 type turning in to a race car. it has more power then my camed 328 and my e30 with has an ETA in it, also a race car. so far the car most fun to drive is not the 98m3 to heavy at 3000lbs with my in it. the 328i is to soft. what left of my e30 which has less of my money then the other 2 cars and its still to soft but is the most fun to drive. oh and i have another car not a bmw but if i wanted to run a e46 m3 in straight line performance i could with my 5.0 which has 250 wheel hp and 300 wtq and weights in at 3000lbs 400lbs lighter then an e46. and my mustang is also very fun to drive but not for the same reasons and the BMW's if i wanted to have a car payment(then i could not race the e30 like i do with ICSCC you should look at some of my videos <script src="http://www.gmodules.com/ig/ifr?url=http://www.google.com/ig/modules/youtube.xml&amp;up_channel=scooby2point8doo&amp;co ntainer=youtube&amp;w=320&amp;h=390&amp;title=&amp ;border=%23ffffff%7C3px%2C1px+solid+%23999999&amp; output=js"></script> ) i could and i would skip the e46 and just get a 128 or 135 yes not even a new e90/92 to big and heavy not the same feeling as the new 1ers or the e30s

god, this is why bimmer owners get a bad rep because of people like the OP.

lets get realistic, the e46 isnt that great, and for the money they are really not that fast.

on the upside ive driven my cousins e92m3 many times and it is soo much better all around than a e46.
