Lets just put it this way NWVD, I think I can speak for many of this forum when I say this; I haven't even SEEN an e30 without a sunroof. Keep it the way it is or trade for someone who wants it.

As someone who used to install aftermarket sunroofs professionally, I can honestly tell you...

HAHAHAHAHAHA- you're gonna be pissed. :) Sunroof cars have bracing and drains that your car doesn't. The metal in the roof will flex, and the seals will leak. Your roof will rust. It's inevitable, no matter how good the installer is. On top of that, it looks stupid and cheap. Good luck with that.

This reminds me of the guy who brought us a Chrysler Town & Country with under 1000 miles on it.... and had us install a boat hatch in the roof. No, not a big, ugly sunroof- an actual aluminum boat hatch. He wanted to use the thing for camping. What a mess.

Its ok to not "know what you have" on your hands but everyone on here is trying to keep you from making a tragic mistake. And like most young people... your just ignoring good advice.
