    I say no more than $4.5K

    You mentioned that the engine was rebuilt 20k miles ago, how many miles on the rest of the drivetrain? A trans or t-case with over 200k is scary.

      Its a buyers market. If you are set on 6k or better, you probably ought to just decide to keep it and avoid the frustration. I would love a IX but Im going to get one on MY terms, given this market we are in.

        nah. mine has 260k and is working fine. but all it takes is one wrong tow, or somebody running the wrong tires, or leaving the fluid level dry to ruin it. maintained and unabused they last a long time.
