Yes, do the turbo. Remove the injectors and plug the ports. Weld a T connection to the intercooling piping and hook the fuel line up there. The turbo will blow gasoline enriched compressed air right into the cylinders. Make sure to delete the TB and MAF as they won't be needed. I've heard that adding rifling to the cylinders like in a gun barrel can help improve the stability of your engine. Additionally, the slots allow blowby which pressurizes the crankcase so the other pistons save energy on the compression stroke. It's genius.
