    Need to put in that rear window seal. No fun to be had there...

                WOW! did not know it was that clean. i wish mine was that clean. i think i am going with some itb as well.
                you should run an air box with those itb's. you will get a much more even power band.

                      I am picking up a Weber 38/38 and manifold in the next couple days as well as the distributer, fuel pump, brake master and pedal box re-build kit!!

                      Oh and since last I got the door seals in and rear windshield seal installed and just need to pop in the lock strip on the front and back.

                      Insurance is still lagging as usual...

                      Ill definitely do an air box with them. 200 degree air from a radiator is nothing good for performance! Have you been north of san fran recently? I saw a car that looks very similar to yours the other day.

                        Believe it or not, you can put the lock strip in BEFORE you install the window, makes it TONS easier. Hell pop the things back out and put the lock strip back in and reinstall.

                          I think ill try to install it this way first.

                          You really think it would be easier to pull them out and do it all over again? Is it really that hard? This is going to suck to do in 90 degree heat! haha

                            I could pull them both, put the lock strip in and reinstall with nothing more than some dish soap and a 12' long thin piece of insulated wire in under 30 minutes.

                            Trust me, pull them first. If you have the special tool to install the lock strip it's not that bad but the chance you'll rip a seal is always there, if you do it before you put them in the chance is zero.

                              Did you just use staight dish soap or did you dilute it down a little first. I think I'll try to do it on Monday. Pics of the weber 38 and manifold coming soon!

                                Straight dish soap works great, If you have a bottle of the Meguires rubber and vinyl protectant it works well also ( slicker than shit it is ).

                                Use more goo rather than less, you can always wipe it up after the fact.
