Hope you are having a safe and fun holiday weekend. After gathering up information, we are rescheduling the Angeles Crest Drive & BBQ for Saturday, October 3. Again, if you are registered for the 2009 Meet, there is no charge for the Drive & BBQ, so please register at socalvintagebmw.com if you plan on attending. If you only want to participate in the BBQ, a $10 donation is requested. We anticipate that the fire situation will be well in hand by then and that the roads in the National Forest will be amenable to our drive. We will continue to monitor the situation.
Now for the BIG NEWS! Both Bimmer Magazine and Bring a Trailer have come on board to be Media Sponsors for the 2009 SoCal Vintage BMW Meet! Both of these entities are instantly recognizable, and we are very honored and privileged to have these two outlets - covering the print and online audience respectively - to help promote and cover our event for their readership. We can't wait to show them how we do a Vintage BMW Meet SoCal Style
The Meet is only 6 weeks away! If you plan on attending please register at your earliest convenience - the sooner we have an accurate head count, the easier it is for us to forecast and plan things such as food, tshirts, goodie bag items and so on. Your early registration really helps us out - thank you.
And for you E30 guys, we're calling you out! Last year you were all upset that you couldn't be part of the Meet, so we expanded the eligible models so E30's could be in - and so far - No E30's are part of the Meet (except ours) C'mon! There are more Bavarias registered than E30's right now!! Time to represent! Thanks!
