Hey, great to see you on here ALYKZANDYR. I'm the one who left the note on your car. Glad to see another e30 in michigan. I drive a red 325es that currently has a white trunk. I actually parked near you on Monday.

The $653 was for the parts and the install. If I had a garage better suited for working on cars, I would have done the work myself. But sence i lack a proper shop, and time ( im in college i have little time to repair cars), I paid to have to work done.

Costs for car as follows:

$800: Purchase price.
$124ish: Plates and redgistration
$500ish every 6 months for insurance
$374: new tyres
$653 Tierods.

Please tell me you didn't actually pay $653 for new tierods...

yes he probably did. if you walk into BMW and order tie rods for an e30 with no discount youll be about 350 bucks lighter
the kid just needs to be taught. i remember buying an oe distributor cap over the counter for 80 bucks as my first BMW purchase. always ask online before making a purchase

I've been thinking. i have thought of a future project. When I sell my current car, ( and buy an E30 2 door) ok here is the project for the future car:

#1 stuff V12 out of a 8 series, or 2000 750IL under hood.
#2 Tune engine to 650+HP
#3 Install 6 speed racing transmission
#4 Install complete racing suspension
#5 Install racing clutch
#6 Take it to Nords for a little track time.
