cars.com is pretty the same thing as autotrader.
Do you have "The Want Ad" in your area? I find lots of good deals for cars/car parts in there all the time.
Edit: I just noticed you're in NJ, aka the used car center of the east coast. Whenever I do a 250-300mi search out of Boston, 90% of the good BMWs are 275-325mi away: in NJ. Just keep waiting. One has to pop up soon.Comment

I want an m20b25 5spd and i want a diving board car so that i can do the bmp kit eventually. Im pretty sure that the bmp kit can only go on prefacelift models. My plan is to sell my car, buy an 87 325is, save up enough money for suspension and wheels, then eventually a bmp kit with a repaint. Along with other little mods on the way.Originally posted by Jarvis

Andrew, if you cannot handle my comments, don't care thinking about getting the kit. You couldn't put up with all the other things that will be said.
I mean, I don't know shit about bodywork, but can see the wavy front bumper (look under the headlights) Voodango or whatever his screenname has a badass track car.....but I'd rather not have that kit. Mtech-II or stock late model IS please!
Plus, think about all the extra cost and work for a kit. That doesn't make any sense. Even if you think it's good looking.Comment

Im just a little tire of the looks of an stock front IS, and dont have the money for an Mtech 2. The waves really dont bother me that much. With this car that i plan on gettng, a "bodykit" is really the last thing i plan on doing. I went in the wrong direction with my old e30 from the start(turns out i hate verts as dailydrivers). Im just looking for something different with the new car i plan on getting. any other ideas??90 325is

sorta plain jane IS front end looks aggressive enough for me
and sure beats an ugly boxy shit of the BMP, IMO.
and stock is a lot cheaper than aftermarket kit. And if you think you spend a lot of money in mods, what do you think a kit would be like?Comment
