I'd rather see one die going toward training rescue workers how to save lives than have another one of my tax dollars buy more clunkers.

the Hurst tool(jaws of life) is a lot heavier than it looka on tv.

            the cutters are fun too!

did you smack the roof with the pike pole and roll it back first or did you just cut the a, b, and c pillars them take it off.

did they let you jab the door tool (i forget it's name) wedge in there to make a purchase point for the Hurst tool or did you just jab it in there and start spreading?
we just cut the six pillars and took the roof off in one shot. we used basically a huge pry bar to start the door, then close the hurst tool on it to pinch it and bend it out, then get in there and spread it.

and andy, haha i believe i lost half my money on this car too... a long time ago. this car was a big FAIL, we both know that.

yea, it is about 4' long straight wedge on one end & a 90 degree wedge on the other with a spike on the opp end. i can't for the life of me remember the name of it though.

did you hook up the hydrolics yourself or did they do it for you? it is a bitch to do with the gloves on!

yeah we used what you described only it was maybe two feet long.

the hydraulics were all set up by them running 100 ft of hose out of the back of the fire truck, but the fittings were cool they just popped on like air hoses.
