Especially when it's completely unnecessary, well-built bling!

don't like it, but I can't deny quality. Can't wait to see it installed, maybe I'll change my mind.

I know! Working out with the yard how we are going to handle it. I'm trying to talk them into shipping me the new motor first so I can send them back a complete one.

I sold the oil pan and such I didn't need.

OH and I'll get those lines in the mail ASAP! I'm working 6-5:30 this week, so I'm going to try to run by at lunch tomorrow and drop them priority.

That cluster looks great. Is it a carbon fiber frame or overlay? Makes me think of the wild cluster sold by BMP.. Probably costs less though.

Um a bit off topic, but what did you paint the needles with? I've got a dead coolant temp gauge in my Alpina cluster and that orange looks like it would do a good job of replicating the original needle color on a standard gauge.

Its genuine Carbon Fiber overlay. The rings I bought separately, as I think the brushed aluminum looks better then the shiny chrome.

The best thing I found to paint the needles with is high quality nail polish. Get it any good department store. Relatively inexpensive, 100's of shades to choose from and the best part is that it goes on smooth and levels out as it dries. Oh yeah the ladies at the counter are fun to talk with as well.

why not pop the needle off one temp gauge and stick it on a replacement?

For some reason I really, really like the orange. I never felt the red that much...probably because most people just use a sharpie or something. But I think that looks great!
