What does a set of AC Schnitzer pedals go for?

What is a set consisting of the dead pedal, clutch, gas, and brake from AC Schnitzer worth?

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I had no idea where to ask this haha.

There's a rather...interesting thread going on in the FS subforum that may give you an idea:

Hmm, so I might be able to get a set for sub $100, good deal or not? Even if they ARE fakes, they look legit. I'd show the CL add but I'm afraid someone might try and snag these from me

That's way too much. Try $50 on ebay for the full set of really good knock offs.

If these are legit though, is $75 good for the full set?

This is how I feel about it. When it comes to things like pedals, if you can't tell the difference between real/fake and they do the same job...that's real enough for me. I have a set of ACS engraved pedals from 8 years ago and they still look great. PITA to install but really dress up the interior. $75 is a smokin deal for the real deal ACS pedals though.

I bought a set of "real deal" ACS pedals off craigslist (no dead pedal, sadly) for $40. I figured why not since that's even cheaper than what the replicas go for. I say go for it, especially if the dead pedal is included.

Gooch, I'm curious, how do you know they are real?

I don't, which is why I keep referring to them with the quotes. Interestingly enough though, mine don't have the serial number stamped onto the back of the rubber of the gas pedal. It would be nice to figure out a way to determine the real ones from the replicas. And certainly would help out dillsnick's FS thread. I'd be happy to offer up some pictures of mine, maybe we can finally put the mysteries to rest.
