Its a high price for this reason, buy it now doesn't add in shipping. And since they are heavy it will be a decent buck just for the shipping. And since you can get a pair from someone on here for much less, granted it wouldn't be as fresh, these are kinda a rip off IMO. And let's say you do somehow pay 1k for getting them redone locally, you still don't pay shipping on heavy items so you end up saving some money in the end.

To be honest I'm on my phone and I didn't take the time to let the page load 100% so I did not see that it was free shipping. Looking at his work, I think the seats I bought second hand were recovered by this same guy. They are not leather, but the vinyl is very supple and the grain is convincingly leather-like.
I'd sell my set for less than half the cost of those, or I could just sell the seatcovers and foam padding. I'm local, so let me know if you're interested.
