Plastic bumper hardware is different from the diving board (aka aluminum big bumpers)...look it up on realoem.com for example. you'll need complete bumpers and plastic bumper shocks and the front/rear sliders/brackets.

I hear 5/88 + is just a slap on with almost no additional parts or adjustments.

Nah it's got different shocks and stuff you need all the hardware from a PB car.

It is a "slap on" with correct parts.

Yeah I have a complete setup ready - brackets, shocks, bumpers etc. I'm still searching around, I found out that the coupe ended up with a major steering rack problem to such an extent that whoever tried to take the column out screwed up the firewall and the system even more. Looks like I'm still looking for a shell. Good to know about the 88 though!
