Checking out a new track this morning

A couple guys from work and I are going to spend some time this morning out at the new Pacific Grand Prix track. I'm not 100% sure exactly what we'll be doing, but I think they are just setting us up with some rental karts to check the place out. Should be pretty cool. They are setup to be able to do karts, bikes, lapping days, drifting, etc. Should be an awesome place once everything is fully up and running.

looks pretty neat, but it's fairly short for a full sized car. Would probably feel like an autox than a lapping day.

still great to have new tracks in our area..

        no.

The track surface is really nice and grippy. Fun to watch the super moto guys too. The rental carts are meh though.

Just got back a little bit ago. The track is very cool. I'll be going back for sure. Ya, for lapping days it wouldn't be super huge and would feel a bit more like auto-x, but it would still make for some good seat time. The rental karts were still pretty fast and worth heading out for (I'm going to try to get out there in the rain some time soon). The surface is very nice, which is a huge bonus. And the track is HUGE. 12min races don't seem like that would be that long, but once you are out there it feels like forever.

The owner is a super nice guy too. He ran with us for a good amount of the time.
