Well shit I was off. There you go, one little thing that drops the value of a car from 3500-4k to 2500-3k. At least to us, could sell it to a local for 3k easy. I see a clean little vert for 3k everyday for sale by me, but sadly its an auto and the top needs some patching, otherwise I would be on it. Hell even with the shitty top I would try to get some money if it was 5speed. Clean car tho, I'd give 2700 for it.Originally posted by Beej '86 325esevery time an M-tech 1 spoiler is destroyed, a baby seal dies.87 325:83 jetta coupe:99 volvo c70:99 volvo s70Originally posted by JparkrThe last thing we need are more of the retards on here thinking they are engineers too.Comment

i dont think thats true at all.
by leaving all your modifications on it you're just decreasing the pool of people who would possibly want to buy the car.
you're narrowing it down to people who are okay buying an already modded car who may have a similar aesthetic taste. enthusiasts will bring you the most money. you could get $2,500 for the car stock and sell your parts for $1k, or maybe sell the car with all that stuff on it for $2,800.Comment

This. I've seen plenty of cars that I would have considered if not for certain mods that I don't like. And paying more for a car to have to sell all the stuff you don't like is a hassle.i dont think thats true at all.

I agree with that. I don't have the caps anymore, or the stock springs. So other than the tint, wheels, and suspension it is pretty much stock anyway.i dont think thats true at all.

I'm more or less targeting a young person 18-23 as a buyer locally, so i don't think the mods will hurt the sale. If anything, i think they'd help make it stick out because lets face it, a stock eta isn't much to look at.Comment
