    Yes, they charge like $9 more for it. I haven't seen it but it sounds like it's just a tad darker.

      I'm really liking your M-2 vert. Good to hear your window swap was a success. The better window material is likely Stratoglass. Almost as clear as Lexan but much more scratch resistant. Be carefull not to kink it when lowering/storing the top.

        Thanks. It's a work in progress. Now I have to refinish the wheels and find a matching spare.

          I hate to say it, but the oem window comes with the piping that the cloth gets tucked into already on it. it also has a 2 sided tape that holds the cloth inplace too.
          yours looks alot bettter now though. hope you can get it sorted so the cloth isnt hanging out like that.
          i wish my top on my vert was also a latermodel zip in one!!!!

            You know after I read the instructions I think I was supposed to tuck the top INTO the window instead of the other way around. Basically, the new window canvas goes over the top and the cement is used to glue it together. The OEM trim is not used. Not sure how that would look though.
