The way I was showed, and tried was to rev the car up a bit in neutral, and before the rpms dropped too far (read: quickly) clutch in, first gear, clutch out and roll. It was fucking hard. This was done with what I'm told was a "puck" style clutch, though I'm not sure how many of these pucks are on this particular clutch.
Haha so you basically are revving it up and side-stepping the clutch to get it going? Sweeeet.
yes i have driving with only my right foot, i dunno i guess i was just bored and wanted to see if it was possible. But I'd agree with Jean, left foot breaking is more of useful time spent learning then driving with one foot
Once you get going, (slow let off then gas), you can do the rev match method and not touch the clutch pedal at all. I do this in my cabbie all the time.
i used to clutchless shift in round tables s10 pizza delivery truck all the time, the transmission was so fucked that it consistantly pops out of gear haha. I'd take that thing through 2.5 deep puddles all the time.
