Sorry to see this about your car. Your E30 is one of my favourties on the board.
The front-end looks exactly like my car - with no fogs and clear turns. But the rear of the car is so sexy, I LOVE those taillights, and love the no spoiler look.

Glad to hear that you are okay.

Sorry about the rollover Jake, glad you didn't get hurt though. A couple friends of mine rolled dads 325i the other night similarly, but the pillars didn't crush and they walked away. Be glad it's unibody BMW's we're driving.

You should have kept in control while you drove into the gorge, that way you would not have gotten a ticket. sometimes traffic laws are dumb.

was quite a bizarre crash, he just turned in and the car went straight... so uncharacteristic of his e30. We're heaps lucky that no one was coming in the opposite direction, or that we weren't higher up where there were cliffs (it's called gorge road for a reason....)

I guess the good thing here is that all the running gear looks to be fine. So he can rip the engine out and build it up while shopping around for another e30 to put it in :) Gotta keep yourself occupied somehow eh?

Lucky he had the 14s on too instead of the Simmons (I think the SImmons were rubbing after he widened the rears so he took them off). Would have had real hassles with insurance with the 17s on, but with the 14s, it looks like a relatively stock car.
