Good to see you kept it from being more of a disaster somehow, good luck with your next ride.

          No!

My favorite 318is. I'm sorry man, but at least it seems you're doing a good job of handling it. Thank God you didn't get injured!

I hope we can see another e30 very soon with those slick rims on it! I'll gladly pay you for anypart you want to continue to live in my dschwarz 318.

I just can't believe it. I guess at least you got some fun and joy out of it...

Best of luck with that battle Shakey. It'd be a shame to see it all go someplace else...

how much did you manage to strip off it when it was in the tower's yard? Recaros, Konis, Whiteline sway bars, Momo etc... Would be a shame to lose it all, that's a lot of money going down the pisser...

Maybe find out how much insurance are getting for the wreck and offer them a bit more...

well, just heard. they settled my claim, and i got my agreed value. however, there are no buy back rights as i stated. i just have to keep an eye out at the auctions. she told me which auction house it is, so i might give them a call. might even try to slip them a bribe, or see if i cant tug on their heartstrings. its amazing wht the site of a man crying can do. lol.

but yeah, if it slips thru, i guess il just have to try and buy it back at the auction. gheybo, but thats life i guess.

all i managed to get off it was the cosmetics. like the tails, clears etc mirrors, momo, junk that i could easily grab without the towie asking too many questions, plus i had to get up there and out before the assessor came that arvo. i was shitting it, i thought id get busted in there holding a fuken recaro or sumthn. then my claim woulda got shoved.

so yeah, il see what happens. im not actually sure if the konis would be alright, its possible they got bent or something during the roll. but some of the other stuff id def like to keep. so il play it out and see.

                      Me realizing this scares me.

Also, I hate the whole "no-buy-back" policy. I mean, seriously, the car is YOU! It's like a high school bully or something. I understand you agreed to it, but contract agreement conditional crap or not, I don't like it.

nah, should be sweet. The rear dampers aren't load bearing members, and the fronts, well it takes a lot of effort to bend a 22mm piston rod. We didn't crash that hard. Your strut housing might be bent but the cartridges should be fine. if you manage to get them back lemme know and I'll stick them on one of the shock dynos at work and check for you.

Sorry to hear about the flip. What shitty luck. Hope all goes well with the buyback (if you do it), and if not, I hope you get something you like even more.

Jesus. TJ is right, someone upstairs loves you. I was surprised the roof didn't crumple, moreso surprised at the condition of the entire car for being in a rollover. I hope everything turns out well for you and your friend.

Sorry man. That was a really nice car so I get sad when I see posts like this, although I'm sure nothing like you have experienced lately. I know you will do at least just as well with a clean slate and I'm looking forward to seeing it.
