Batteries only came in the trunk on 325's in the UK, my 318iS has it in the engine bay.

The 318i of mine has the battery in the front, the 325i SE in the boot = both cars Euro.Comment

al 6-cyls here have the battery in the boot except for cabrios IIRC, its not all that rare.Im now E30less.

It's a hit and miss here, both 323i's i have owned have had the battery in the engine bay :evil:Just a little project im working on
