Loctite,awesome,yeah the bolts were sheared off, so I guess they were overtorqued and didn't hold tight enough when I engaged the brakes.
Just happy it wasn't worse.

Nah, the 20 gauge backing plate is totally strong enough to shear grade 8 bolts and rip the caliper and brake line off.Originally posted by Dominic49 View Post

if the caliper bolts fell out (which is probable happened) when the brakes were applied again, caliper grabs on to rotor thus spinning around ripping backing plate & ripping brake line off.Comment
