Which is dumber, the stupid "scare you straight" PSA ad, or the people trying to disect it apart with legalese?

      God you people are dense.

The Kid's mom got run over by the SUV after it got rear ended by the guy who was speeding & didn't pay attention. The guy loses his job (assumedly due to his conviction/loss of liscense) and has to ride the bus afterwards, where he sees the kid on the bus for a second time.

It's not really a deep commercial.

i meant the body..... didnt really think about it too much... could have been another kid, or his older brother/sister.... i was just commenting on the body being run over, but ending up directly in front of the car

No one else found that kind of inappropriate / amusing?

I was thinking about this this morning and I remembered this really funny glitch in the matrix down here...

If I should run somebody over within something like 50m of a crosswalk, but not on the crosswalk, it's automatically the pedestrian's fault.

I could be drunk, stoned (that's for all my fans out there lol), racing, speeding and waving my dick out the window and it would be their fault; as long as it wasn't intentional.

I think it makes sense, but it's also kinda stupid. Oh well, just another reason to drive :P

FIRST OFF, just cause they have accents and a RHD car, does not mean it is British, or Euro even. Hello, its Australian.

SECONDLY, I can't believe there is so much discussion about this PSA. These types of commercials are HUGE over there, at least they were when I lived there. This one is more tame than many I have seen from the Land of OZ.

The kid was obviously walking with his mother IN the cross walk. MORE than likely holding her hand, she was closest to the SUV and got hit. She absorbed most the impact and probably took her son down with her, allowing him to escape unscathed. Don't you guys watch CSI? Pay attention to the details!

Kudos to all you who GET where this PSA is coming from. You are definitely the people I would like to see more of out here on DC roads. Pay attention to what you are doing....

            :)

wow, I actually didnt think this thread would go CSI.

I posted it on the local streetracing board where I usually just pull and AVI and stir shit but they just justified what they did and claimed it didnt pertain to them and I got bored so it died quickly.

Whew, I am out of breath. That was one long sentence.
                Im now E30less.
