All the investigators would be able to prove is that he did not stop in time. He would receive a minor citation. Bullshit. You don't go to prison over a minor car crash. As I said above all they could prove is he did not stop in time. An incident like the one posted is just as likely to happen due to an old lady not paying attention and braking late.

Here in AZ if there is a fatality due to a regular traffic accident, the driver at fault receives a normal citation. I do believe it is does states somewhere on their DMV record that a fatality did occur in the accident, but that is it. No loss of license, no prison time, no demotion from boss to stockworker.

At first I thought the car was going to crash into the bus causing all the bus people to go flying. I don't know about you guys, but here in AZ I'd love it if every bus got bombed. Lots of people take public transportation to work because driving in the city is a pain in the ass, takes forever and parking costs an arm...my mom lives in Chicago and takes the L to work everyday to her job in the loop. I guess she should be killed.

Also, the kids shouldn't have been in the street...wtf. Yeah that video was eggagerated, just like all those anti drug commercials, but the point is still clear. Either A) don't speed or B) know what the fuck you are doing. He didn't do either.

I do agree with lukasbmw somewhat. Speeding was not what caused that crash. He could have been doing 25, didn't hit the brake in time and the same thing could have happened. That accident was caused by him not paying attentiona nd not braking in time.

I second that. The video didn't convince me to not speed. It was rather vague and the cues like "Do you always drive this fast?" were retarded. I was more convinced to pay attention while driving than anything.

The Kid's mom got run over by the SUV after it got rear ended by the guy who was speeding & didn't pay attention. The guy loses his job (assumedly due to his conviction/loss of liscense) and has to ride the bus afterwards, where he sees the kid on the bus for a second time.

It's not really a deep commercial.

As for the bus comment, I understand where most of you live normal people take the bus. However, here in Phoenix the only people who take the bus are those who really should be wiped of the face of the earth.

In the commercial it implies:

The guy lost his license (He is now taking the bus)

The guy lost his job (He was in nice looking suit...now he is a stock worker in regular gear)

The guy lost the girl (He had a hot British piece of ass riding shotgun...now he's sitting next to strangers on the bus)

Even in most communist corrupt countries, the only way all 3 of those things happen is if the guy runs down a friend/family member of the dictator. Brittan's laws are not much different from ours. The guy would get a minor citation, have insurance fix his piece of shit Toyota, keep his job, and either keep the girl or find someone else to fuck.
